Yesterday the Southeastern Conference and ESPN reached a 15-year, $2.25 billion deal to televise sporting events, including football and men's and women's basketball--making the SEC schools triple their current television revenue totals--from $5.3 million to about $15 million when combined with a deal announced with CBS-TV and surpassing the Big 12 schools as the top TV revenue money-makers.
