Today publisher Conde Nast announced it is shuttering Domino magazine. The once promising home title launched in 2006 is the fifth home magazine to shut down lately--Meredith's Country Home, Time Inc.'s Cottage Living, Hearst's O at Home and Hachette Filipacchi's Home magazines were shuttered last year.
In a statement Conde Nast blamed the recession for closing the magazine. "Although readership and advertising response was encouraging in the early years, we have concluded that this economic market will not support our business expectations," President-CEO Charles H. Townsend said.
