With its March 2009 issue, The Atlantic magazine has published four distinct versions of its cover, customized for specific metro areas. This is just the latest experiment for The Atlantic; recently the magazine revealed a major website and magazine redesign and last fall it introduced a marketing campaign to attract new readers.
I like the idea about a couple of different covers for one issue. It makes the magazine more attractive for the readers.
