With its February issue Esquire magazine hid an ad on the cover. For May the men's magazine is experimenting again, this time with three perforated covers that can be separated into three horizontal strips. Turning the three perforations over will create different images including actor George Clooney and President Obama; the issue's them is "How to Be a Man."
dear esquire magazine T hank you for including me in your article about food. It was an honor to be a part of something so big. I took the train at 165th got of on 82nd street and bought ever issue I could find at newstands up to 72nd st. They were heavy but worth it. I am now a new subscriber I learned so much from cover to cover. I finally bought my first swiss army watch I learned so much I just picked up spring 2009. If you ever wish to write about a real Black American please read some of my news stories from Carrot Top Pastries. My life is well worth the read and worthy to Esquire.

This is actually good! I wouldn't notice that on this photo if I didn't know. Now I can see that the hands for example belong to Barack Obama. Great job!
