Vogue Cover Featuring Beyonce is History-Making

Vogue magazine's shape issue, out in April features superstar Beyonce on the cover and strangely she's one of only a few African-American celebrities to be featured on the cover of the fashion magazine in its 117-year history. In fact, she's the sixth in a list that includes Oprah Winfrey (1998), Halle Berry (2002), Jennifer Hudson (2007), Michelle Obama (2009) and LeBron James, who appeared with supermodel Gisele Bundchen in a controversial pose last April.

VIBE Magazine Features Rapper as Malcolm X on Cover

For the April issue of VIBE magazine rapper T.I. poses as minister and activist Malcolm X on both the cover and inside the magazine. The issue features a profile on T.I. who will begin a long prison sentence for weapons charges on March 27. Along with the famous Malcolm X pose, T.I. also recreates poses of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg.The issue is out tomorrow.

Actress Mia Farrow, then starring in the movie "The Great Gatsby" with Robert Redford, was featured on the cover. The celebrity/human interest magazine was a spin-off from the "People" page of Time magazine and was an instant hit with readers though it took advertisers a little longer to catch on; however, within 18 months of its first issue People magazine turned a profit.
