
With major layoffs plaguing
Time, Inc., Conde Nast and Forbes, the magazine industry is in dire need of some cheering up. So here's it is: Advertising Age
reports that ad-spending for December issues is significantly up for several titles including Real Simple, Southern Living, Glamour, Martha Stewart Living, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire and Wired.
Great news for the magazines! I can imagine the worse times have come for them and they are worried about the future but I believe everything will be fine once the first online magazines boom is over.
