We thought we noticed something different about our November
Real Simple issue. According to the editor's note, the magazine has introduced 14 new monthly columns and some design changes, thanks in part to new creative director Janet Froelich. So far our favorite new column is "Trends Worth Trying." If you're a Real Simple devotee, let us know what you think of the changes.
I liked the "Trends Worth Trying" so much that I immediately went out and bought the American Eagle Outfitters fake fur vest shown in the column. I was a sporadic Real Simple reader up until this issue...now, I will definitely be a subscriber.

NOT happy. the whole point of real simple was it was about simplifying, not adding to the dizzying world of consumerism, "trends" and expensive cleaning products. also, the clothing featured in the "new" version of my beloved magazine is totally out of budget for anyone aiming for simplicity. sad about the loss of what was truly a unique mag and is no longer. :(

I love the Real Simple magazine and I think the changes they made are good but we all need some time to get used to them.
