Since today is all about shopping, we’re taking this opportunity to let you know a few (OK, four) things about how we can help you during the busiest shopping season.
One—we’ve improved our gift center. We’ve made sorting through our more than 2,000 magazine titles easier. You can now shop by personality, occasion, or recipient and get recommendations for a variety of different kinds of gifts including gifts for him and gifts for her. We’ve also got magazine subscription gift cards for $10 and up; gift announcements are available to send to recipients via e-mail and mail.
Two—in case you haven’t heard (we’re not opposed to a little self-promotion), The Wall Street Journal, CBSNews.com, CBS Milwaukee affiliate and Yahoo! Shine recently recommended Magazines.com to shoppers for affordable holiday shopping. We’ve got the most popular magazine subscriptions for up to 80% (sometimes more!) off cover prices.
Three—our customer care team has extended its call center hours to be available at our toll-free number, 800-624-2946, weekdays from 7am to 10pm CST and Saturday from 7am to 7pm CST. Customer care representatives will also be available to help you via Twitter.
Four—we’re not stopping with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. On December 1: we’re launching our first-ever Santa’s Sleigh daily deals promotion—some prices as low as $5—on select magazine subscriptions. Sign-up here to receive e-mails or become our fan on Facebook to be the first to hear about Santa’s Sleigh daily deals.
With the festive season of Christmas closing in many of us take the calm organized approach in knowing exactly what your loved ones and friends wish for. The gifts are probably already wrapped, tagged and stored away, waiting for the 25th to hopefully bring a little joy and big smile to the recipient’s face. Others find this yearly ritual stressful and are probably too busy with their hectic life styles that for them the best way to cope is to do the mad dash for gifts on Christmas Eve. Whichever method of choice works best for you, there is still that decision in making your selection a fitting one for the lucky person in question. Once those gifts are purchased it’s just fingers crossed that duplicate items from other folk are not making their way under the tree. We all want to give and receive something special and different, not the run of the mill pair of socks that you mischievously rewrapped for your dad as an extra little prezzy.
