In a statement to Mediaite, Men's Health editor-in-chief David Zinczenko defends the cover.
Zinczenko: "The newsstand coverlines are a tool that help us reach the maximum number of guys possible, on promises we know we’ll fulfill every issue. For many magazines, certain cover subjects — from lines to celebrities — are an important part of their newsstand branding. But for the 80 percent of readers who get our subscriber copies, the lines are totally different and reflect the breadth and depth of our reporting with the 12 million readers we serve each month. Rest assured — it’s this originality and reporting rigor that’s made us the biggest men’s magazine brand in the world.”
What do you think? Is it OK for Men's Health to repeat cover headlines for newsstand issues?
No! Please the excuse regarding a subscription vs. newstand cover is lame. It's lazy, just because those headlines sell better on the stands does not mean that you stop trying to improve or change layout. This is further indication of how very far journalistic standards have sunk. A good company should always try and improve upon what works, not recycle it.

In October 2009, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices approved the Adult Immunization Schedule for 2010, which includes several changes. A bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV2) was licensed for use in females in October 2009. ACIP recommends vaccination of females with either HPV2 or the quadrivalent human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV4). HPV4 was licensed for use in males in October 2009, and ACIP issued a permissive recommendation for use in males. Other changes in publication.
