While Time, Inc. and other publishers are exploring new magazine-reading technologies, Rolling Stone magazine is branching out in a low-tech kind of way: the pop culture magazine is
opening a restaurant and exclusive nightclub in Hollywood next summer. The unnamed restaurant/nightclub locale will be the Hollywood & Highland Center near tourist hotspot Grauman's Chinese Theatre and will feature high-end food.
And while we understand and appreciate the 42-year-old Rolling Stone's attempt to extend its well-known brand deeper into the pop culture world it covers, we're wondering why a restaurant, especially in this economy. Doesn't Jann Wenner remember the struggles of Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe? What do you think, is a Rolling Stone magazine-themed restuarant a good idea?
Times man of the year is a joke. You are in the wrong world Why did you not point out the Tea party they are changing this country more then anyone and this movement is just getting started, It is time to remake this country back to the principles of the original founders and that will come in spite of the liberial fringe left wing media. I'll bet you never considered the biggest star in politics today, if you don't know I sure won't lower myself to tell you but you need ot wake up the people have started to wake up to the lefts desire to control everyone and everything.

What a great idea! It would be great to be able to go to such a restaurant and meet all the people who love rock music. I think this idea will work pretty well. I am keeping my fingers crossed for that.
