We read some rumblings around the web today that Geek Monthly magazine may have closed. We checked with our publisher relations department and discovered it is true. Fusion Publishing has confirmed with Magazines.com that it has folded its geek lifestyle magazine, Geek Monthly. The publisher has not made a formal announcement and has left fans of the pop culture magazine frustrated on its Facebook fan page, according to Minonline.
I received a Notice of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case, Meeting of Creditors and Deadlines concerning Fusion Publishing, Inc. The meeting of creditors is 11 a.m., March 1, 2010, at 21051 Warner Center Lane, #105, Woodland Hills, CA 91367. The case number is 1:10-bk-10979-GM.
